As a new activity this year, the alumni is conducting a cash raffle fundraiser.  Our hopes are to launch the raffle during National FFA Week (February 18th-25th).  The alumni is encouraging FFA chapters and alumni affiliates to get involved so that we can continue to provide support and scholarships throughout Maryland in the future. 

The Maryland FFA Alumni is responsible for providing judges, timers, and other volunteers during Maryland State FFA Convention.  Several judges and timers are needed for each career development event.  Volunteers help to make the contest run smoothly and monitor rooms. If you are interested in being a judge or volunteering you can email Brooke Ridinger at cowdoc09@aol.com.  

The Maryland FFA Alumni Annual meeting is scheduled for June 27th, 2012.  The meeting will be held at 8pm during Maryland State FFA Convention in Baltimore, MD. 

The 2012 Alumni Development Conference will take place July 11th through 15th in Bozeman, Montana. The conference is a great opportunity for alumni members to learn about recruitment, starting alumni affiliates, and various leadership roles.  The state normally sends at least one person to represent Maryland at the conference.
