Untitled.

For the record, I made the title of this blog for a reason, not because I couldn’t think of a title. :)

“Untitled. What does it mean to LIVE untitled?”

For four days at the end of July, AJ and I went to the State Presidents’ Conference held in Washington, DC. The theme of this conference was Untitled. The National Officers challenged us to not live by the title of office we were given, but to be uncommon with our actions, unleash our full potential, and remember that we are unfinished, and there is always room to grow.

This Conference is designed for State Presidents and Vice Presidents from all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, to come together, decide which delegate issues will go onto National Convention, and just have a great time getting to know about each other and FFA in different States. Sounds pretty cool right?

On a more serious order of business, AJ and I got to meet with Congressmen Roscoe Bartlett, and Representatives of Benjamin Cardin, Dutch Ruppersberger, and Andy Harris to discuss current Agriculture Issues and the FFA. We also got to meet with the United States Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack to discuss our concerns in agriculture and the drafting of the new Farm Bill. This conference was a once in a lifetime experience with FFA members just like us, from everywhere!  I am so thankful for such a wonderful experience, and I’m sure AJ would agree!

Keep up the good work over the summer, FFA-ers! Can’t wait to meet you in the Fall!

Forever Blue,

Kelly Kundratic
